Roof coatings and exterior systems are designed around coat counts, wet film and dry film targets in manufacturer data sheets. Professional spray, with the right tip, pressure and pass technique, helps apply those coats more evenly than rushed fogging.
Uniform thickness supports durability under Auckland UV and rain. It does not replace wash-down, rust treatment, primers or saying when a roof is past coating. Inspection still comes first.

Spray suits open walls, ceilings, many commercial interiors, selected cladding and roofs with containment and calm weather. We favour brush, roller or finer tools for detailed villa joinery, windy coastal elevations without control, and occupied rooms that cannot be masked properly.
Choosing the method is part of a professional scope. We will not spray failed paint or end-of-life roofs just to finish fast.

Spray multiplies both good and bad prep. Surfaces still need cleaning, repairs, primers and dry times. Masking floors, fixtures, joinery, vehicles and gardens takes real time and is priced into the fixed quote after a site visit.
High-pressure equipment needs trained operators, PPE and tidy site manners. Exterior spray includes wind checks and neighbour-aware protection.

Is spray painting better than brush and roller for Auckland homes?
